NSW Public Sector Campaign: @nswfbeu Meeting with Shoalhaven Mayor today #NSWisconsin #ausunions @fbeu

A Public Sector delegation of Firefighters, Police, and Teachers will meet with Shoalhaven Mayor, Paul Green, today to seek support to advise Shoalhaven Councillors of the threat that the O'Farrell IR policy will have on their citizens.

While Shoalhaven Councillor Gareth Ward (local MP and supporter of the draconian IR laws)  removed the voice of local emergency service workers and teachers at the June Shoalhaven Council meeting, the Union delegation will today attempt to have the issue debated eventually by his Council, and the local community given a chance to voice their concerns about the affect the laws and policy will have on local community resources.
