We now have details on regional rally's and events for the Sept 8 Public Sector day of action:

Albury   11.30am for 12.00 noon   QE2 Square, Albury

Coffs Harbour   11.30am   Brelsford Park, march to Andrew Fraser’s office at noon.

Cooma   12.00 noon   Centennial Park, Cooma

Cowra   11.00am   Squire Park, Kendal Street, Cowra followed by refreshments at Cowra Services Club, 1200 noon.

Dubbo   11.30am   Victoria Park March to local state MP office.

Grafton   11.30am   Grafton Market Square, Grafton.

Kempsey   11.30am   
Assemble at Services Park, Belgrave Street.  March to Hennessy Park – BBQ and cold drinks will be available with speeches from union representatives.

Lismore   11.00am   Riverside Park, Lismore, followed by a march.

Moree   11.30 am   ‘The Max, Function & Conference Centre’, Corner Balo & Heber Streets, Moree.

Merimbula   12.00 – 1.00pm   Merimbula Golf Club in the Garden Room

Port Macquarie   11.45am   Westport Park, march to Town Green at noon.
Sausage sizzle after the speeches on Town Green

Tamworth   11.30am   CWA Park Tamworth, speeches at 1200 noon followed by a march to the state member’s office.

Wollongong   8.00am    Lowden Square, (opposite Wollongong Railway Station) for 'Breakfast Rally', depart 9.16am train to Sydney to attend Domain Rally.

Former President of the Fire Brigade Employees’ Union (2009-2018) and a professional firefighter with more than 30 years experience. I live and work on the NSW South Coast, Australia. I am a strong advocate for firefighters and emergency service workers with an interest in mental health issues and caring for those around me. I am a former Director on the NSW Fire Brigades Death and Disability Super Fund and work with charities including ‘The Movember Foundation’. As a leader and activist I have long been active in the campaign for action on climate change. I am a Station Commander in the fire and rescue service in NSW and have 30 years experience fighting fires, both rural and urban. I am passionate about highlighting the impact climate change is having on fire preparedness and fire behaviour in Australia, and the risks associated with inaction on climate change. I am also a spokesperson for the Australian Climate Media Centre.
