Kiama firefighter assaulted in home invasion over weekend

A friend of mine, and fellow firefighter, was woken by a home invasion while he and his family slept over the weekend.

When he went up stairs to investigate, the intruder assaulted him and fled.

While police track down the gutless leech on society, my friend is reminding everyone to lock up everything at night, even balconies…..
