A firefighter just asked me what will happen if someone dies due to the Commissioner's decision to close fire stations in NSW to save money.

My reply: One death at a fire or on the road this weekend, where a delayed response due to the Commissioner's decisions are clear, the FBEU will hit the Dept, the Commissioner, and the O'Farrell Government so hard, they'll wish they were back before ICAC and the Sunday Telegraph, because the bad times with those organisations will seem like picnics compared to the s***storm we'll unleash.
