Start collecting signatures. These petitions are a great way start a conversation with people who may not know what the Baillieu Government is planning and may not know that nurses and midwives are still fighting to keep safe staffing levels to protect Victorians who need hospital care.

The petition calls on the Baillieu Government to:

Resolve the nurses’ dispute and support and fund nurse/midwife patient ratios in the replacement enterprise agreement.
Legislate for mandated, safe nurse/midwife patient ratios and cease pursuing the replacement of qualified nurses with unqualified and unregistered health assistants, four-hour shifts and split shifts.
