How I Handled SURF RAGE – Was I in the Wrong?

My POV surfing session got a bit heated – I paddled out at a local reef break……

My POV surfing session got a bit heated – I paddled out at a local reef break on a blue-sky day with crystal-clear water for a cruisy surf. The lineup was a bit crowded, the take-off zone was tight, and the shallow rocky reef meant there was no room for mistakes – then I got run over by an ANGRY LOCAL !

Watch the interaction and tell me – WAS I IN THE WRONG? Watch the whole video to see if it ruined my surf session, plus I explain the surfboard I rode at the end, including the board dimensions and fin setup I used for this surf.

Filmed in RAW 4K POV on the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, this video captures everything from navigating a busy reef to handling the surf rage incident. Despite the challenging conditions, I manage to score some solid rides. There are also two close calls with the reef, where I nearly get washed up on the rocks but come out uninjured.

If you’re into POV surfing, reef breaks, line-up etiquette, or honest surf vlogs that show both the good and the difficult moments, this video is for you. Like, comment, and subscribe for more real-world reef sessions, surf challenges, and 4K POV surf content from Australia.
