Moore blasts @BarryOFarrell for push to get her out of bearpit #NSWpol

THE Sydney lord mayor, Clover Moore, has accused the Premier, Barry O’Farrell, of ”bullying” and ”venal politics” after cabinet approved new laws to force her to quit her seat in the NSW Parliament.
”I just think it’s appalling and the Premier really needs to realise he’s the Premier, not the leader of the opposition, and he should get on with leadership, not venal politics,” she said.
Cr Moore’s outburst followed revelations in the media that cabinet has decided to amend the Local Government Act in this session of Parliament to prevent MPs from serving concurrently as councillors.
