Save the Great Barrier Reef via: #GetUp

UNESCO, the UN body in charge of protecting world heritage sites, released a damning report on the impact coal and coal seam gas developments are having on the Great Barrier Reef. Their report “notes with great concern the potentially significant impact on the property’s Outstanding Universal Value resulting from the unprecedented scale of coastal development currently being proposed within and affecting the property”.

SAVE THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

We need to urgently alert investors to the massive risk of of these projects and not to proceed with the plans of mining magnates Gina Rinehart and Clive Palmer which would damage our greatest natural treasure. We’ve teamed up with Greenpeace and BankTrack to take this campaign global. Please support the campaign by donating to run this ad in the Financial Times across Asia.
