Insurers’ premiums face probe over fire levy #NoNewTax #FRNSW #FBEU

From July 1 every property owner in Victoria will pay a minimum $100 to help fund the state’s fire services. Previously fire services were funded by a tax on home and property insurance. Now they will be paid on council rates.
